Student Placements

Woorayl Lodge is committed to offering students the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a practical setting, while also supporting their professional development in a structured and nurturing learning environment.  Working in aged care may present challenges, but the rewards are plentiful, and a work placement can help alleviate any misconceptions or fears about caring for the elderly.

We welcome placements from students enrolled in a Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing) at universities, TAFEs, and other registered training organisations (RTOs).

Prior to commencing your placement, please ensure you provide the following documents:
•    A police check (dated within 3 years of your placement)
•    A signed Placement Agreement (provided by your school)
•    COVID and Influenza vaccination evidence
