About the event
Enabling EDIE (Educational Dementia Immersive Experience) is an immersive workshop that enables participants to see the world through the eyes of a person living with dementia. Using our virtual reality technology, this workshop enhances your knowledge of dementia while exploring strategies to support a person with dementia to live more confidently.
You will gain knowledge in:
The perspective of someone living with dementia.
Identifying support needs in partnership with the client and their carer.
Developing a dementia support plan that focuses on enabling a person living with dementia.
