Woorayl Lodge is a not-for-profit aged care facility nestled in the lush, rolling hills of South Gippsland in the township of Leongatha.  The Lodge has 41 private rooms in the residential aged care section and 29 independent living units and is proudly community owned and run. 

About the Role

We are currently seeking friendly and energetic catering assistants to join our team.   Your role will be to assist our chefs/cooks to prepare and deliver meals and to maintain residents’ dietary satisfaction. On the job training will be provided. The successful applicants will:

• Have sound communication skills and be available to work a variety of shifts which may include weekends and public holidays. 

• Be reliable, motivated and passionate about caring for older people.

• Capable of following safe work procedures and contributing to a safe environment for all.

• Hold a Food Safety Handling Certificate or being willing to obtain.

We will support you with training and leadership so that we deliver the best levels of service to residents, visitors and staff.
