About Us

Woorayl Lodge is a not-for-profit aged care facility nestled in the lush, rolling hills of South Gippsland in the township of Leongatha.  The Lodge has 41 private rooms in the residential aged care section and 29 independent living units and is proudly community owned and run. 

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to our goal of delivering high-quality, family-centered care.  Being a RN with Woorayl Lodge means that you get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life.  You support not only their clinical care, but play an important role in making sure the care provided meets their individual goals.   The successful applicant will:

• Have a current unrestricted AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.

• Provide leadership, direction and supervision to support staff to meet the individual needs of our residents. 

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of Residents Rights and the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

• Promote a continuous quality improvement culture and have an ongoing commitment to excellence.

Applicants with previous a previous leadership role will be highly regarded.  We will support you with training and leadership so that we deliver the best levels of service to residents, visitors and staff.  As a Registered Nurse you may be required to work all shifts, including night duty.
