About Us
Woorayl Lodge is a not-for-profit, community-owned aged care facility located in Leongatha. We provide 41 private rooms in our residential aged care home and 29 independent living units. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a warm, home-like environment.
About the Role
We are seeking casual Housekeepers to join our team. This role is to provide back-up coverage for leave and occasional shifts – there are no guaranteed or regular hours. You will perform general cleaning and laundry duties to maintain a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas to required standards
Following infection control, OH&S and aged care quality guidelines
Supporting laundry services as required
Working as part of a friendly and professional team
About You
You’ll be dependable, flexible, and committed to providing a high standard of service. You will also have:
A willingness to be called in to cover shifts at short notice
The ability to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical fitness to undertake cleaning tasks (standing, lifting, bending, etc.)
Experience in cleaning, particularly in aged care or healthcare, is highly regarded – but we will provide training for the right person.
