Woorayl Lodge Inc. is a not-for-profit aged care provider proudly serving the Leongatha community in the beautiful hills of South Gippsland. We proudly support 41 residents in our aged care home and 29 independent living units, guided by our values of Inclusiveness, Community, Understanding, Individuality and Wellbeing.
About the Role
We are seeking a Casual Lifestyle Assistant to join our Lifestyle team.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role supporting the delivery of engaging and meaningful lifestyle programs for our residents. You will assist in facilitating activities, encouraging participation and helping residents stay socially connected and engaged in daily life.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, brings energy and creativity, and values creating a positive and inclusive environment for older people.
About You
You will be someone who:
Enjoys working in a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture
Has a genuine interest in supporting older people
Is reliable and able to work within established routines
Encourages participation and social engagement
Communicates respectfully with residents, families and staff
Qualifications in Leisure and Health or a related field are highly regarded. Experience in aged care, disability or community services is desirable but not essential.
